High Efficiency Right Angle Gearmotor

RAE Corporation has achieved a major breakthrough in the design and development of its G250 Right Angle Gearbox. This breakthrough has resulted in a gear box that is 80% to 90% efficient. Bevel gears transmit power from the motor through the gearbox more efficiently. This allows higher torques with smaller motors resulting in savings in power consumption, weight and total cost.

The G250 Series may be coupled with either the M4000 or M6000 Series motors offering input power ratings up to 1/3 HP with voltages from 12 to 180 VDC. Gear ratios from 10:1 to 92.7:1 yield a range of speeds 19 to 180 rpm. The robust diecast gear box is designed to AGMA standards and features all metal gearing. The motors feature high energy ceramic magnets, a dynamically balanced armature, a TENV design and class "F" insulation. Modifications to the motor and/or gearmotor are possible to meet your unique design requirements.
