New Product Technology

G14 Series Gearmotor from RAE Corporation Offers High Output Torque

RAE Corporation announces the availability of its G14 Series Right Angle Gearmotor for applications requiring high output torque and a dependable, rugged design. This highly reliable single worm reduction gearmotor may be combined with RAE's M1500, M1600, M4000, M6000, or OPTI 4000 Series fractional HP permanent magnet motor, offering input HP ratings from 1/60 HP to 1/3 HP.

The G14 Series Gearmotor features a .500" maximum shaft diameter and provides speeds to 350 RPM. Gear ratios are 8:1 to 60:1, and input voltages range from 12-180 VDC. This durably constructed gearmotor features precision components including high energy ceramic magnets, a dynamically balanced armature, a TENV design, and Class "F" insulation. Modifications to the performance and/or the physical configuration of this Series may be possible in order to accommodate unique customer specifications. UL and CSA certification compliance are available on the motor.

Expansion

RAE Expands Manufacturing Facility for Increased Fractional HP Motor Production

RAE Corporation announces the expansion of its McHenry, IL manufacturing plant by more than 30%. The expansion, which was completed in late summer, will increase capacity and reduce lead times for RAE customers.

"We have invested in advanced equipment and are implementing additional proven manufacturing strategies that will increase our productivity and our responsiveness to our customers," stated RAE's Director of Manufacturing Tom Batek. New equipment has been acquired to duplicate all winding operations for the company's most popular "C" sized armatures. This equipment will allow RAE to significantly reduce lead times and has added greatly to our flexibility.

Compact, High Output Torque Parallel Shaft Gearmotor

RAE Corporation now offers its GIL200 Series Parallel Shaft Gearmotor to meet demands calling for high output torque in a compact, durable design. The flexible GIL200 Series Gearmotor is designed to be combined with RAE's M1600, M4000, M6000, or OPTI 4000 fractional HP permanent magnet motor, offering input HP ratings from 1/30 to 1/3 HP.

The highly reliable GIL200 Series Gearmotor features a .625" standard shaft diameter, and delivers speeds up to 350 RPM. Gear ratios range from 11:1 to 231:1, and input voltages can range from 12-180 VDC. The rugged, diecast gearbox is designed to AGMA standards and features all steel gearing. Also featured are high energy ceramic magnets, a dynamically balanced armature, a TENV design, and Class "F" insulation. Modifications to the performance and/or the physical configuration of this Series may be possible so that the product meets your unique specifications.
